Container Number in Delivery to be editable

Hi all,

I maintain Container number at:

VL01N - Header - Foreign Trade/Customs->Transport-Departure field

Now,can I edit this after PGI and/or Invoice...?

Hi Shubit,

To my knowledge you can edit in delivery till you create Invoice. ALso in invoice you can change if required.

Well, I've checked it at my end. Actually, after invoice, I want to change this above mentioned field but there is a message that comes as soon as we open the above path which says "Delivery has already been invoiced, you can only display export data"

So, are there any settings to change some fields in this message?

Hi Shubit,

That's right.

It is not advisable to change this field once billing is done and thats standard. That believed to be the Best Practice too.

Still if you need to chnge the message - Note the message number and change the message from Error to Warning.
