Cannot see Design Studio 1.1 Appl. on iPhone

Hi mobile friends,

we are using SAP Design Studio 1.1 for building mobile applications. After publishing our applications on BOI and assigning them to category mobile we would like to get them in SAP BI App 5.0.5.

On iPad we have no problems. Open the connection and refreshing is enough. There the Design Studio 1.1 Applications work perfectly.

But on iPhone we cannot see our Design Studio 1.1 applications in the overview screen. Reconnection, refreshing and searching do not solve the issue.

Do you know what we have to do to see our Design Studio 1.1 applications on iPhone?

Information:

we are using iPad 4 and iPhone 4S and SAP BO BOI platform 4.0 SP6.

Hi Victor,

we migrated our BI platform to 4.1 SP01 and changed the parameter, described in your posted link.

Now, we can see our Design Studio Application on iPhones.

the Sizing is very strange, but we can see them

     Did you make sure that the iPhone is running iOS ver 6.x or better.  It is highly recommended that you run iOS 6.x or better.

Hi Ajay,

our iPhones use iOS version 6.1.3.

This is the current version when updating iPhone 4S.

Cause of our company rules we all use this version. Noone of us can get the Design Studio Applications on iPhone.

Hi Patrick,

Whether the following SAP recommendations are followed when creating mobile analysis applications for an iPhone:

●Keep the applications simple and do not use too many components.

●Only create applications based on the predefined templates for iPhones (do not use the blank template for iPhones).

In the New Application dialog box, select iPhone as the target device. In the next step, select a predefined iPhone template (for example, iPhone Template 1).

●Do not use crosstab components for iPhone applications as this is not supported by SAP.

●Only design iPhone applications in portrait format. Landscape orientation is not supported when running the application in the SAP BusinessObjects Mobile solution.
