Serialize don't get SFC's from Next number pattern

Hi,

Today I noticed something very strange in our SAP ME 6.0.4.6 test system.

We have a SFC Serialize Next number pattern with:
Prefix = SE%DATE_TIME.[yy]%%DATE_TIME.[w]%

Number base = 36
Sequence length = 4

Min Sequence = 0

Max Sequence = AAAA

Increment by = 1

Current Sequence = 15

Reset seq. number = weekly

This pattern is applied for all materials (Using * as material code and version )

Previously this has worked perfectly when serializing the products, but now something
has happened. When using the serialize activity I get up blank rows for The serialized SFC's.

The only thing I now for sure has happened in the system is an upgrade from 6.0.4.4 to 6.0.4.6.

Anybody have an idea? I plan to do an upgrade during the weekend to the latest patch 6.0.4.8 and see
if that fixes it.

Upgrade to 6.0.4.8 did not fix the issue.

Noticed that in the information for patch 6.0.4.6, there is a note 1848770

So obviously there has been some work done on serialize functionality in patch 6.

Hi,

Problem solved. Activity PR550 had rule GENERATE_ID set to FALSE. After changing the value to TRUE, SFC's are now generated again.
