Change default message type for change request from SDCR to ZDCR

Hi Expert,

I need to change message type for change request.

I was created ZDCR message type copy from SDCR.

Status profile, action profile, date profile and text det profile was maintained.

But, when create change request from SLFN, default change request message type is SDCR.

How to change it to ZDCR?

Hi Prakhar and Jansi,

I was define copy control with source msg type SLFN and target msg type ZDCR.

also change CHANGE_REQUEST_NEW on dno_cust04 = ZDCR

but, it still not work. when i create change request from SLFN, msg type for change request still same SDCR.

hi,

it should work, go to spro -> search for "Make Settings for Change Transaction Types", check the copy control rules settings there, have you done properly.

or try to change the transaction types from corresponding action definition from action profile

else you can try with zlfn goes to zdcr.

But this all workarround, the above 1st suggestion would work.

I Try to config copy control rules, but there is no value display for SP type.

Any configure not complete yet?

You can set the parameter CHANGE_REQUEST in dno_Cust04 to ZDCR  and check. Ensure the fields Copy Item No. and ComplRef is ticked in Copy transactio type and copying routine should be AIC001.

it still not work.

let me tell you my detail config:

I Use SLFN msg type for create support message

Created ZDCR msg type from SDCR. Action profile still same with SDCR

DNO_Cust04 config : Change_request : ZDCR

                                Change_request_new : ZDCR

Have you defined the copy control settings

source SLFN

Target ZDCR

you need to defined the parameter also which you want to copy between these 2 transaction types

please change smcr to ZMCR under CHANGE_REQUEST_NEW in DNO_CUST04.

this should solve.
