Unable to see image on right hand side of SAP Easy Access.

Hello Gurus,

Image on right hand side of SAP Easy Access is missing.

Even I have unchecked Extras>Settings>Do not display picture.

Can you please help?

Is High Speed Connection (LAN) selected in Network tab for the SAP Logon entry of this system?

Where I can locate these options and how will it affect.

I have used Gif image with 8-9 Kb sizw.

Hello Saurab,

SAP Logon > Connections > select the system > Edit the entry

There choose the Network tab > activate High Speed Connection (LAN)

When Low Speed Connection is active Picture won't appear on right panel (at all, it does not matter its size)

Many Many thanks For your Replies.

I have changed name of image filre to Z_xxxxxxxx.Gif

and  saved it as local object and

It Works.

Now I can see pic  on sap easy access but whenever I start my Test server , the image is in shrinked form at rightmost side  of sap easy access  screen.

In brief the image size is contrained

constrained. I need to expand it .

Can you help me on this.

and also saving Z_xxx.gif as local object is correct or to put image in a package is better way?

Hello Saurabh,

Check the table SSM_CUST for parameter RSIZE_IMAGE YES. I store gif as local object.

Which package did you use?

Has this been done on dev server?

Did you try loggin off and loggin in after the change?

After loggin, try this -> System -> Create Session

For me, it showed up after doing the above (not sure if it was related to buffering).

To put your company logo in the right-hand side of the

    initial screen:

    Put your picture in the database with the transaction SMW0

    "Binary data" options, e.g. in ".GIF" format.

    Put a record with the picture name in the key "START_IMAGE"

    of the table SSM_CUST in the View maintenance transaction

    SM30.

    You can adjust the picture to the window size automatically

    or center it in the right-hand side of the initial screen

    ("RESIZE_IMAGE" "YES" or "NO" in the table SSM_CUST).

    You can deactivate the picture globally so that noone sees

    it with "HIDE_START_IMAGE" "YES" in the table SSM_CUST.

    User-specific picture display settings are then ignored.

I have already done all these steps, with HIDE_START _IMAGE =NO.

there is no picture on right hand side before and after these steps.

actually ,I have same task of displaying Company logo on right hand side sap easy access.

First i have to do it on Test server,when i have started on test server but there is no picture on right hand side of SAP easy access,

then I followed  steps to add company logo.I thought that after following those steps , there is a possibility  that i will get pic on right hand side,  but all in vain.
