Hello

This is what I see from the log.

ORA-19625: error identifying file /oracle/SID/sapbackup/belokcak.spa/sr3.data25

ORA-27041: unable to open file

IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 22: Invalid argument

Additional information: 2

Can you check the file permissions and ownership in the .spa directory when the backup is running ?

Also check the ownership of the datafile /oracle/SID/sapdata1/sr3_25/sr3.data25 and the rest of the files

Additionally check whether the orasid and sidadm are part of the dba and oper groups.

Regards

RB

Hello All,

I have faced the same issue for some time and now i have found the issue  how to fix it. There is some group changed for this file  "backSID.log" file which is under filesystem /oracle/SID/sapbackup". It should with ORASID:DBA ownership of this file . This issue has been resolved by changing the ownership.

Also the same issue will exist during the init.utl file not configued correctly or problem with storage area.

"BR0279E Return code from 'SHELL=/bin/sh /oracle/SID/112_64/bin/rman nocatalog': 1

BR0536E RMAN call for database instance SID failed"

Thanks,

Hi,

%ORA-19625: error identifying file /oracle/SID/sapbackup/belokcak.spa/sr3.data25

ORA-27041: unable to open file

IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 22: Invalid argument%

You getting above error. "Error:22:Ivvalid argument " . This error comes usully due to operating system issue. Please have a look on below OSS note . May be this is a temp issue due to OS. What about the status of next run of backup. Please have a look on below OSS note.
