Digital signatures in RR and UD

Dear Experts,

Could you please mention the steps to get the pop up to give digital signature at the time of saving the rr and ud  for 01 and 03 insp types?

Please also mention is involved only config or do we need to involve abaper also? if so, what will be the scope for abbap activity in this.

Hi,

There is no abap work in activating the digital signatures.

Below are the steps to activate digital signatures

1) In material master QM view maintain QM material authorization as  000020.

2) SPRO-->Quality Management-->Environment-->Central Functions-->Authorization Management--> Define Authorization Groups and Digital Signatures

3) In the pop up window select Mat. Auth. Group, Insp. Lot Approval, Digital Signature

4)Against 000020 in Results recording and usage decision column select required for results recording and required for usage decision

5) Go back and select signature method

6)Against 20 and 21 select R System signature with authorization by SAP User ID/Password.

Once these settings are done you will get a pop up during results recording and usage decision.

This is applicable to all inspection types.This cannot be restricted to only 01 and 03 inspection types.

Hi,

We don't need help of ABAPR for digital signatures,

It's a simple configuration in QM, follow the below path

QCC0<Enviornment<Central Functions<Authorization management<Define Authorization Groups and Digital Signature

Define a authorization group and make appropriate settings.

Now assign this QM authorization group to material master in MM02.

Now run the process of inspection lot and check.
