I am new to the SAP environment and have picked up this issue.
We have updated a new version of a document on DMS but in our index it now shows the old and the new version.
The old version is set to superseded.
Any ideas?

In SAP DMS, you will be seeing all the versions of the attached document. There are 2 options to select from "All versions" & "Current version"
When you select "Current version" it will display only the latest version of the document.

The issue I am having is related to the taxonomies and the index which should only show the latest version

What we have done now after a full re-index did not work was to manually delete the classification from the documents.
This has resolved the problem but my concern is why it happened in the first place.
