run lifecycle management>> cant connet to WIP database

Hello,

I have NW 7.31, only Java on Windows 2008R2.

I started Lifecycle Management with lmauto.bat, but Im getting this error. I created 3 more databases (WIP, OSD and INT) under the NW instance in SQL Server. The scripts from the documentation were OK, no error there. In the Services, it shows: the SAP SID instance and the WIP instance( created in MSSQL). Maybe the WIP instance should not be showed in Services. Im not sure here.

Are there any parameters to check? Maybe I missed smth

Hi Chris,

Per SAP Note 1770018, ME databases may not be created in MSSQL instance of NW, even for ME 6.1.

For exact requirements to ME databases, please refer to SAP ME Component Installation Guide, section 3.1 (3.1.2).

SAP Note 1770018 does not exist? or is in use, cause I cant find it.
