How Shopping cart display Configured

Dear Experts,

When we double click on shopping cart , it will display shopping cart  using FPM (OIF).

I can able to see all the configurations individually, but all these configurations are component configurations,contains Usages Definition.

Where all these different  ( General Data,item table,item details) compnent configurations integarted into one FPM application.

Can you explain  the Usages Definitions concept.

Below are the five different component configurations involved in shopping cart display.

Hi,

You have a single application here: /SAPSRM/WDA_L_FPM_OIF which is an OIF (Object Instance Floorplan).

The IDR is just the "header"

What is more important is the component FPM_OIF_COMPONENT and its configuration /SAPSRM/WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL.

Within this configuration, several "UI parts" (UIBB = User Interface Building BLocks) are grouped together. Each of this UIBB has its own configuration.

That is why you have so many of them.

Usage definitions is just the way you declare the use of a Web Dynpro component within another Web Dynpro Component. For instance, let's say you use 3 ALV components in a view, it makes sense to declare 3 different usages for the same ALV component.

if you see the component configuration of  /SAPSRM/WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL,  there are no multiple UIBB's configured in it.

it is configured as below .

Component Name: /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_SC_OIF_CA

View: IV_L_FPC_OIF_CA

Configuration Name: /SAPSRM/WDCC_FPM_UI_SC_OIF_CA_PR

if you go for UIBB configure : it is displaying below usage definitions .

usagesDefinition (DETAILS)

usagesDefinition (HEADER)

usagesDefinition (HIER_LIST)

I need to understand  how the above other components(3,4,5) linked with  /SAPSRM/WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL.can you please give clarity.
