Function module / Method to retrieve messages from RWB

Is there a function module or a class that help us to read messages & its processing status from RuntimeWorkbench / Adapter Framework?

I am after coding for a program that helps reconcile messages between AF and central pipeline (J2EE stack and ABAP stack).
