Hi Experts.
We are upgrading from SolMan 7.0 to 7.1. In Service Desk in SolMan 7.0, we have 2 different teams using Service Desk and their messages were segregated using Solution ID. In example, HelpDesk1 go to Solution "HelpDesk1" in transaction DSWP and filter by Solution ID so that only their messages will be displayed.
In Incident Management in Solman 7.1, it seems Solution ID is no longer used.
Any idea how to best implement the 2 Helpdesks in SolMan 7.1 without this Solution ID?
Thanks,
Tess
Hi
there are various ways to achieve this ...
you can use the organization authorization to restrict the messages or partner function authorization object
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMAUTH/CRM_ORD_LP
for other related objects

hope this helps

hi
if you have any custom program in place,
system id still available, can you modify by system id?
other wise use the Prakhar's suggestion, that much simpler,

Hi Tess,
Just a thought.. There is a partner function called Customer which is equivalent to sold-to-party .. Can't you use multiple BPs to segregate for 2 different teams.
Thanks,
Jagadish.
