Hi Experts,
I've got a problem with WDA Chip.
When WDA CHIP triggered by BPM task, how can I get the Portal ID in WDA ?
Thanks,
Eric
Dear experts,
I've solved this problem.
last week I created a support Note to ask SAP how to solution this problem.
SAP reply that this new function is released in NW 7.31 SP08,

Dear Samuli,
WDA CHIPs is a new function and release in Netweaver 7.3,
WDA CHIPs is triggered by BPM process to show the WDA screen in BPM task window,
and not iView.
Kiran's link describe how to get portal ID from iView, but what I need is get logon portal ID from CHIPs and BPM Process,
They are totally different things. But thnaks for your opinion.
I know what CHIPS are. Unless the WDA hosting the chips is called from a portal object, there is no portal integration hence you can't query for the portal logon ID. So can you describe in more detail what parts of the solution is in portal and how is it integrated with the rest of the solution? You could try to look what is available in the browser session.
Portal ID? You mean the user ID? Have you tried the variable SY-UNAME?
