Dear Friends,
I have a requirement wherein schedule lines are maintained at Sales order level. for example each month 100 hrs service will be delivered for next 3 months(July, August & September) means totally 300 hrs service need to be delivered.
When I create a delivery for the current month for 100 hrs system should not allow me to deliver more than 100 hrs which was maintained in schedule line level. Since open quantity shows 300hrs, I am able to deliver more than 100 hrs which is not accepted. Please suggest how can I restrict based on the quantity which is maintained in schedule line. I am using Service Material for which no inventory and Availability check is applicable.
Please suggest how to overcome this issue.
with regards,
Hi,
You can use normal scheduling agreement and create a z document for your scenario. Multiple delivery dates can be entered and on each due date, specified hrs can be delivered.

If Services really need delivery in your business, the best option is to have three line items each for 100 hrs like below:
Material Quantity First Date
A 100 Hrs July 1
A 100 Hrs August 1
A 100 Hrs Sep 1
If entering Multiple line items is not an option, you can have 3 sch lines like below. Since delivery creation is based on the First Date and its corresponding Confirmed quantity it will not let you to have more than 100 hrs.for a specific date.
First Date Confirmed Quantity
July 1 100 Hrs
Aug 1 100 Hrs
Sep 1 100 Hrs
