Is it possible to download an image into excel

Hi,

I have a status column in alv which shows an image.When user clicks on a button which has export to excel  functionality ( using wdr_task=>client_window->client->attach_file_to_response )in the tool bar how to download image also into excel file or any means to download image also in to excel.

Is the above requirement possible??

Hi,

I would suggest to look at ABAP2XLSX for this requirement but it might require a thorough rewriting of your code.

Otherwise, I think it would still be possible to retrieve the XML and manipulate it yourself so as to inject your image.
