Need newline parameter for SAP X12.Converter Module

Hi All,

I am working on SAP PI 7.31 Ehp1.

Currently I am facing an issue in IDOC- EDI Scenario. I am using SAP Converter Module(X12.ConverterModule).

PI is generating below output file.

ISA~00~          ~00~          ~ZZ~61870RTY       ~ZZ~ABCDGHJ      ~130606~1029~U~00501~000000001~0~T~:|GS~RA~61870RTY ~ABCDGHJ~20130606~1029~1~X~005010|

Complete file in one line.

But our client want each segment in a newline. Like below :

ISA~00~          ~00~          ~ZZ~xxxxxxxx       ~ZZ~ABCDGHJ      ~070215~1525~U~00401~000000001~0~P~:|

GS~RA~xxxxxxxx~ABCDGHJ~20070215~1525~1~X~004010|

Earlier with BIC module we have a  “newline” parameter for the same.

Could please guide how to achieve newline requirement with SAP Converter module.

Hello Ruchi,

Are you on B2B AddOn SP0 or SP1?

There is list of module parameter that you can use with SP1 and x12.indent will be best fit for your requirement.

I tried using x12.indent but it didn't work. No change in file format .

Hello Ruchi,

It should work. If it does not work, please raise a ticket on component  BC-XI-CON-B2B-MOD and SAP will fix it.

We have raised OSS to SAP for same.
