SAP OS Migration Media List?

Dear Experts,

We are doing the ECC 6 EHP 4 Migration. Details as below:

**********************************************

Source OS: Windows 2008 ( Cloud)

Source DB: Oracle 11.2.0.2.0

Target OS: IBM AIX 7.1 (IBM P710)

Target OS: Oracle 11.2.0.3.0

*********************************************

The Software Media :

1) Software Provisioning Manager for Windows and AIX ( For Target & Source System Respectively )

2) Kernel ( Delivered with SPM )

3) Oracle 11G Software ( RDBMS)

4) Oracle Client

5) Oracle Patches

6) Export File ( Which we have exported from Source System)

Kindly confirm on the same and suggest me if I am missing something.

Hello

There is no need to change the DB version before the export.

You can set up the target system with Oracle 11.2.0.3 Release even if the source is on a lower version.

Hummm....Yes Oracle version can be upgraded one we can choose. Thank You for confirming...

Hi Nilesh,

As you are mentioning target Oracle version is 11.2.0.3 .. You need to download patch set for this.

Update the kernel with latest patch before the export in source and after import in target.

Rest looks fine for me.

I have copied the SBP SAP_112035_201302_AIX.zip as well.
