HU management not active in OL22

Hi Gurus,

When i am doing the consistency check for WM with HU management in OL22 system is giving a message HU Management not active no number range check required.

Can anyone elaborate on this pls?

How did you know about OL22, where is it in the IMG?

this transaction checks for the entered warehouse number if you have assigned number ranges for storage units / Handling unis.

So it starts reading table T001L which are your storage locations and checks if HU managment is activated (field Xhupf)

And if it is, then SAP checks table T340D, fields NUKLE , lenvw , verle

the message you received is already triggered from the fact that your storage location is not HU managed.

In IMG > Logistics general > HU management > Basic > Materials management > Inventory management > HU requirement for storage locations and defalut values for delivery

you actually define if your storage location is HU managed
