How to make B.O.M customer wise

Dear sd experts any standard way is there to achieve this 

500 customers are there  among 500 customers 10 customers only like bill of material concept

ex : laptap (mouse +screen gourd +extra keypad +cooling pad    ) 40000 rs this is one material with packing fully

this process is liked by 490 customers

Now 10 customers want bom process for same material ( Material is same )

ex if we enter Laptap material for this   particular  customers in va01 system should  process bom method

Here main thing is we should not change material name

You can create a Ztable and do coding the Sales order user exit (MV45AFZZ) to make BOM not to explode if the Sold to Party in the Sales order is maintained in the ZTable.

Hi;

You can put lines of code in (MV45AFZZ) to check if customer is BOM related or not. The BOM relation would me maintaioned in customer master in additinal data.

This will easy to maintain the master data and automation of order creation.

Can u have BOM 1 with same material (like no material to explode)

BOM 2 with the all materials.

Any how user interference is required during sales order creation to decide.

AS per my knowledge We cannot maintain BOM customer specific. What you can do is create two item categories. One with BOM explosion and one without it. Make default without BOM item category as number of customers is 490 for this. For rest of the ten customers change item category in sale order to BOM item and system will explode BOM which you have created in CS01.

As per Moazzam suggestion,

IN VOV4

OR + ERLA + _____+_____ = TAN || TAQ

OR + ERLA + _____+ TAQ  = TAE 

In this case, system default give the normal item category.

When the customer require BOM procedure, entered TAQ in the line item and system given the list of details.

SD experts : can Item category Usage can be used ???

Item category usage is hard coded in SAP standard programs and we can not change it. These are for SAP standard programs and functionalities.

For this discussion You are right OD. This is exactly what I had suggested to OP.

With Item category determination and Item category usage, i could achieve customer specific item category.

For you 490 customer normal sales process.

ZOR + ERLA + ____+ _____ = TAN

And for the 10 customers with same material and with a BOM method.

1. Create Customer - Material Info  record - VD51

     CUST001 + MATER1  assign the USAGE as "TEXT" (considered in my testing)

2. Item category determination :

     ZOR+ERLA+TEXT+________=TAQ

Now if user create the sales order for the customer system explodes BOM in sales order as per Material BOM.
