All,
Is there any customer out there who is using Seeburger in the production environment. If so, can you please list EDI transactions and the volume of data being passed on a daily basis. And a general impression on common challenges / errors being faced with. Please answer any or all questions. Thank you.
Regards,
Pam

Thanks Chandra.
I spent considerable amount of time yesterday reading up on these documents in SDN. I see several white papers on Seeburger implementation. When we evaluated this package 18 months ago, it was at its infancy. I'm sure its come a long way (hope so)but I need to establish an contact with someone who has the system in production. And to be able to talk / email directly to understand the scope / volume / comments on the general well being of the prd environment.
Are you the one? Do you have the system in PRD...can you send me your feedback on the types you are using with volume?
Thanks,
Pam
HI,
It is better to understand , how to use , Where to use seeburger adapters, and what is the performance issues if we use seeburger adapters, how to overcome these issues..
I hope it is not good to direct contact or to know how much their volume of transactions and what are the transactions ..business transactions..
See the business transactions are varies from company to company.. and also volume also..
You can use File adapter/FTP with seeburger modules also , its all depends upon the customer , what adapter , what are the modules they installed on their servers..
I hope you got clear..

Chandra,
If you ask me about XI, I can safely say this.
To quote an example on a similar question but to do with XI:
I worked with Automotive industry and in production, we used SOAP, HTTP, RFC, IDOC, FTP, etc adapters. Most of the data was sent / received through HTTP, SOAP, RFC, and file/FTP. And our volume per minute is 4000+ documents. RFC tuning for volume was most challenging. FTP, HTTP, SOAP handles throughput extremely well. Production issues - few (handful a day) to none. In addition, I would like list out the types of EDI transactions sent / received.
This provides perspective to how the environment / adapter handles transactions. I'm sure questions related to XI version/SP, hardware and data size will be asked and can be answered when needed.
I don't think this is too much to ask.
Thanks,
Pam
