Hi Basis Expert,

We are facing an authorisation issue in our XI 3.0 system.

This is when we launch the ID & IR the system is now allowing us to log in and says "Authorization error; unknown username or incorrect password".

But we have given the correct username / password and also checked the roles. The roles which my userid is having is copied from the XISUPER users.

Also the same error we are facing from my other colleagues id.

Please help us in resolving this issue.

Regards,

Anil Shenoy

You have an issue with your J2EE_Guest account; it may be worth while to shut down your java stack, and enable the super user account so you can get into the stack and fix or review the issue with the system.

This part is also interesting too:  Error##Plain###Failed <-- That seems like its looking for a SSL cert or a SSO ticket to another system...

Hi Anil,

As you are mentioning you have done DB restore.. Have you finished all post steps of the system copy for ABAP+Java env?

I mean SSO specific steps etc?

Thanks,

Jagadish.

I assume this is a ABAP & Java stack system?

Is the user sapjsf still functioning?  Is UME behaving normally?

Hi Billy,

Thanks for the reply

Basically we did a Oracle DB restore from our source system to the target system

The user SAPJSF is existing in Abap Stack. But we have not touched the password yet in Abap stack & UME after the restore.

.Kindly suggest.

Is the SAPJSF account locked?

If you lock an account on the ABAP side, and then try to login to the Java side do you get a failure due to the account being locked?
