Service items are not publishing consistantly into ECC

Hi Experts,

While we are editing existing master agreement with service lines to add new service lines and while trying to publish service master agreement changes from SAP Sourcing system to ECC system, some of the service items from (may be existing or newly added) are getting drop in ECC side randomly. To update all contract line items on ECC system, we have to publish agreement in sourcing system several times. After multiple trails only all line items (existing and new) will appear in ECC.

We are really in deep trouble as the system behavior is not consistent and not getting any clue from where we have to start our investigation. I request experts of this forum to guide us to identify root cause. Please advice if any further inputs required (We are on SAP Sourcing version 9).

With regards,

Prabhakar

More importantly check if you need to apply any notes on ERP system from Service market place which might be a good chance,if the version of ERP for integration is fine. Raise a OSS parallely  or check Release information notes so that you will know if you need to assign any list of notes if its a known issue.

Thanks

HI Prabhakar,

I have integrated Sourcing and SRM , this is the way I debug , hope you can follow the same for sourcing ERP integration as PI is used in both the cases.

Enable debugging in PI by the way specified in standard integration guide and try to check the payloads or data transferred from sourcing to PI and then PI to ERP , check if all the service items are part of your pay load , if yes then try to check if whole data is being part from PI to ERP, you can monitor the transferred messages with help of tcode "sxmb_moni".

Second try to check any errors in ERP if all the data is being transferred properly once contract creation updation function executes in ERP.

Third you can check if at all the product categories added to the services are of that ERP business system only

Fourth is it that you are trying to publish immediately after you add/update service items.. just wait for some time and then check if service items are all publishing properly.(This may sound different , but you can check if at all its because of some time lag )

Hope it helps

Thanks
