Interface design between SAP and non-SAP portal managed by 3 rd party service provider

Working on Interface design between SAP and non-SAP portal managed by 3 rd party service provider. I am looking some specific help on getting detailed functional specifications to provide to technical team to build the interfaces. 

High-level scope: Our SAP system to send PO, PO changes to non-SAP portal system and they   receive PO info from our SAP. They send POs and PO Changes to Vendor systems. Non-SAP portal    receives info from Vendors and send PO acknowledgements, Vendor proposed PO changes and shipping notifications to our SAP system.

  Design steps: 

  1. SAP sends PO and PO to non-SAP Portal
  2. SAP creates IDOCs upon release of POs and XI converts IDOCS to XML and send to portal
  3. Non SAP 3 rd part portal sends PO and PO changes to Vendors.
  4. Vendor sends acknowledgment to portal and they send to our SAP. 

Note: All PO and acknowledgement are managed by 3 rd party portal and there is no direct link between our SAP and Vendor systems.
