BI portal 7.31 and ESS/MSS (EHP6 on ERP6) on NW portal 7.31 running on same JAVA instance

      Hello all,

We have BI portal 731 connected to SAP BW 731 backend.

We are planning to start ESS/MSS with Portal NW731 and backend EHP6 on ERP6.

1.       1. Any challenge while use same J2EE instance and Portal for ESS/MSS integration (WD ABAP) ?

2.       2. Can I use same configuration document for create RFC destinations, Maintain Single Sign-On, export import certificate, User mapping etc ?

1. You can use same instance , no worries if you use sufficient resources if  worried about performance challenges .

2. Configs are almost same , and you will get separate config guides for 731 and may have to use NWA for most of  configs
