Hello Gurus,
I got this links for vendor registration
Now I was wondering if I can customize this page like changing the logo and adding few more fields and making it ready for Indian Vendors.I just wanted to know whether I can do the customization and use this in my SRM portal as Vendor Registration.
I am new into this.So I don't have any idea how to customize it , can we really do the customization for the existing links and use it in our portal.
PS : Help with procedure.
Regards
Gaurav Gautam
Hi Gaurav,
About the logos, you can change them in the system properties:
Setup --> Configuration --> System Properties
system.brand_logo.sellside - (Logo that will appear for Vendors)
system.brand_logo.buyside - (Logo that will appear for Internal Users)
About creating new fields, you need to create Extensions on the following path:
Setup --> Configuration --> Extension Definitions.
Select the class that you want to extend (create new fields) and create the field as your requirements demands.
Cheers,
Robert

Hi Robert,
Thanks for quick response but I really don't know how to do. As my requirement is to develop a vendor registration form as we are into srm implementation. So , I thought to take a step with this process. Could you please tell me in details as what backend I should install. And where to find this setup->configuration..........
I am a ABAP SRM technical consultant now I hope you can understand that I am totally new to SAP Sourcing.
Also can't I get the complete code of these links and then I can do the modification as per clients requirements.
PS: please tell me with procedure full points will be rewarded.
Regards
Gaurav
Gaurav,
there is no need for coding when creating new fields on SAP Sourcing. This is achieved through Configuration.
After accessing sourcing system You'll see the setup link on the top right section of the screen, see image attached.
Some help on extensions:
Some help on System Properties:
Hi Robert,
As I said I don't have any idea how to enter into sourcing as I am new to this.I was going through the document but didn't able to understand how to login into SAP SOURCING.I am having my r/3 system and srm system. For sourcing do we require any other type of login other than this. Also what are the tcodes used.I was looking into SRM system SPRO but didn't find any of the configuration setting.
If you can guide me then it will be a great help.
PS : points will be rewarded..
Thanks
Robert
Hi Gaurav,
Answering your question, yes you would require a different logon for SAP Sourcing.
And we do not use any tcodes there. It's more of a portal environment.
Once you login, into SAP Sourcing, you can go to the Setup option in the right hand side and there would be few categorized tabs.
For creating new extension fields you have navigate as
Setup System Setup Configuration Extension Definition.
You can check this link for further help.
Gaurav,
SAP Sourcing is not part of both SRM and ECC. You need to install it separetely in it's own server and then you can integrate it with SRM and ECC.
SAP Sourcing does not use the concepts of transactions like we have on ECC. It's all navigation-based (like a website).
The only setting that you will find on ECC's SPRO is the one related to activating the integration with SAP Sourcing (which is an External System).
Cheers,
Robert
