integration builder not working after pi7.3 ehp upgrde >PI 7.31

Hi Guys,

Need urgent help,

after ehp upgrade of PI 7.3 (abap+_java) > PI 7.31

we  are not able to access integration link builder,

Cannot connect to server using message server: ms:/<host>:8103/P4 See error logs for details

checked -

notes on relevant error and respective entries in configuration are correct,

post config -upgrade wizard executed

sld-and cmi update with latest support pack

kindly suggest on this asap,

Hi Prashun,

I guess your target system is still a dual stack?

Also, port 8xxx is residing on the ABAP stack. You probably need port 5xx00 to connect. Where xx is your instance number.

thanks for input,

Currently if i don't want to use Migration tool for dual stack ,

where should i change port in configuration properties,

.aii..directory-mshttp -

.aii. repositroy-mshttp -

should these all be set to 5xx00 -  where xx( instance  no. of java)

kindly suggest which service(selected) ports to check and which note to follow,

2) i have also added add-ons available for PI 7.31 ,Which was not available/Installed in PI 7.3,

will those affect any configuration.

Hi Prashun,

1) Please check

Under NWA-->Configuration-->Infrastructure-->Java system properties-->Services[tab]

     Then select XPIServices:All config Service.

Under this service, check all the below mentioned properties are configured with correct FQDN name in the Custom Calculated Value column:

com.sap.aii.connect.directory.name

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.name

xx is your java instance.

Please do a CPA full cache refresh once configured or Java server restart required to get it updated.

2) Add-ons will not affect the configuration since they are deployed directly in the PI server.

Please check the java version in the local system you are using. If it is 1.7x, try by downgrading to 1.6.x and after java web start cleanup, try to access ID and ESR.

Hope the user has necessary privileges and roles associated.

Hi Praveen,

i have checked ports for respective properties and added them ,

but now port no in message-error is changed previous it was 8103 now it is 50201,and  then again 8103 after restart ,

-then ( Internal error during authentication )

2) how to check in intranet-network that port is open or not with telnet ,

to confirm port-firewall is not issue,

3)previous error- file -...suitable agreementis still there

Deprecated scope of type SERVERSESSION_AT_LEAST_ONE_APP_SCOPE is used! Please replace the usage of scopes with new mechanism based on "Cross application session communication API".

what other checks can be done ,

One more point i found  i have difference in patch level abapstack- 05  and java -06  ( pi 7.31)

will this could be major issue,

Hi Prashun,

Abap and java stack must be on the same SP level. So if they are really on sp level, you have to

bring them to the same level.

I have removed most of  error in trace- but now only remaining are

1) No SLD elements of type SAP_XIAdapterFramework found

Thrown:com.sap.aii.ib.bom.landscape.SLDElementNotFoundException: No SLD elements of type SAP_XIAdapterFramework found

adapter is not getting registered >

2) unable to connect server  p4 <host;port> check server availabliity

while logging to ESR,IB,  I get this error , to check connectivity i telnet that port

getting error , as there are few restriction for firewall, i check on server it self  its working fine there,

We have upgraded SP level for one of our client and after that I am facing an issue of "unable to connect server  p4://<host:port> check server availabliity" while logging to ESR and IB.

Can you please assist me to resolve the issue?
