Manage collabration options for Blog post

Hi,

just wanted to know why manage collabration options not available for blog post, this means blog post by default can be edit only by the owner of the post.

Please confirm.

Yes, that's correct.  Blog posts are timely and informative pieces of content that shouldn't be updated unless it's to correct something or add new information.  (Notice that the date edited isn't present on blogs like it is on documents.)

So blog posts can only be edited by the author. 

If ever you have new information to add, you can add a comment if it's short or consider a follow-up blog if there's enough to write about.
