picking of files

Hi all

if i keep three files in the sourse with the same name and provide the pinging time of 10 sec will it pick the files with the same name one by one or all three files at the same time please let me know.

<i>it pick the files with the same name one by one or all three files at the same time please let me know.</i> - your files will be picked one by one only.....but the difference will be in microseconds so you will feel as if all the files are picked simultaneously......in which order the files will be picked - this you cant determine... only XI will decide it randomly at runtime.

if we have file name like say Ex:1. File1.txt , 2. File2.txt 3.File3.txt then in my file adapter for file name if i say File*.txt .

this is case is also possible and all file get picked at sam time.

Hello Naveen,

If you have 3 files

File1.txt, File2.txt, File3.txt

and you are saying in Channel File*.txt,

and the QOS is EOIO,

and if your poll interval is say 10 secs then

all the files will be picked up with a gap of 10 secs...

that answers... it should be same I guess with the same file names also..
