GATP - Product Allocation for Configurable Products

Is it possible to Use SCM GATP Product Allocations for Configurable products. Check Product Allocation at Characteristic Value Level .

Hi Naveen,

   Yes you can use SCM GATP product allocations for configurable products. For this you have to use CBF table instead of field object catalogue.  Also while defining the product allocation group the check box for "Use configuration characteristics" should be selected , once you do that in the F4 help for the characteristics you should see the characteristics for CBF table

Hi Naveen,

Yes it is possible to run product allocation for configurable products, so CBF (characteristics based forecasting) is a requirement there, and while configuring allocation in GATP you need to take care of using "use configuration characteristics".

And off-course other points mentioned by Kiru are way to go.
