Assortment List. Transaction WDBU Change Message.

We have SAP retail since 3 years ago. Recently the program job RWDBBUPD is delaying around 13000 seconds.

Analizing the program, there is a select in the WBBP table and here is where take a long time.

Actually, the WBBP table has more  than 10 millions records.

Actually, the job of the WDBU transaction has set the field Generate merged versions, if we uncheck the field Generate merged versions, the execution time of the job decreases considerably.

The question is: It´s necessary set the field Generate merged versions? What happens if the field "Generate merged versions" doesn´t have the check?

Hello,

If you want the program RWDBBUPD to create Assortment List IDOCs just for changes (Articles changed with respect to last run and registered in change pointer table BDCP2 based on configuration using BD52 ), you do not need to check  the checkbox for Generate merged versions.
