Portfolio Item Decision Point Status

We have a requirement wherein all Project Phases in a project are released, and the successor phase is released even before the predecssor is completed. We see that this is possible.

Is the same possible for Item Decision points too? So to say, even before the first decision point is complete, the second decision point must be set to in-progress. We currently see that only after the 1st DP is marked complete, does the system allow editing the status of the succussor DP.

Hello Deepak,

For Phases : You can release the Phase 2 even Phase 1 has not been completed ( but it is mandatory phase 1 is released) . You configure this in phase type ( unflag "release successor phase only after approval")

For DP : You cannot have active DP 2 if DP1 has not been completed ( you cannot have active 2 DP at the same time).
