Forecast horizon for PPDS hueristics

Hi,

Forecast horizon parameter in SNP2 tab helps us consider only sales orders as total demand and ignore forecast.

This functionality is working perfectly for SNP Heuristic planning runs but we also want to use same functionality for PPDS but it seems PPDS heuristics does not consider the forecast horizon parameter.

Did any one get across this situation or know any other alternative?

In general, in PP/DS, the method that is used to support this business requirement is to ADJUST the unconsumed forecast elements downward, such that the unconsumed forecast qty is made to equal 0; when they fall within a defined time window.   Transaction /SAPAPO/MD74.   This can be run via job or process chain to automate the process.
