How to pre-load the IDOC meta data in PI

Hi Experts,

We are on PI 7.3 EHP1 dual stack

We are working on IDOC_AAE scenario, did all the necessary configurations. http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-31398

when i monitor the IDOC adapter from RWB, the meta data is not loaded properly.

For IDOC Type : i mentioned [ IDOC MESSAGE TYPE]

For service  : i mentioned Business system

For Channel name: mentioned the idoc Communication channel name.

but  " pre-load failed: Check parameters entered "

please help me, how to load it and which parameters, do we need to input here to load the metadata.

i have already loaded the metadata in IDX2. is it the same or different?

I think because of this, im facing error in SM 58. " IDOC ACTIVATIONSPEC is not supported Causes 'IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS'

and the idoc's are generating with the Status 03 in ECC.

What does it mean? i didn't find anything on SDN and no idea what the error is..?

Hi,

AFAIK for IDoc_AAE, the IDoc metadata is imported automatically when an IDoc is triggered for the first time through PI.You may check SAP Note: 1781955 for issues related to metadata.

Hi Satish,

Even i have tried many times also installed the patch, mentioned in the SAP Note.

But no success.

One more thing i would like to mention is that, i was unable to monitor the IDOC adapter in RWB.

As per the blogs, we can only monitor the IDOC messages in RWB not in Moni since it is a java adapter.

But i can able to monitor the messages in Moni.

Hi Bhargava,

Can you check your configuration scenario once.

I believe you are not using ICO's(integrated configuration), that why u can see the messages in moni.Can you pls check this..

I tried with integrated configuration also, but facing the issue " receiver aggrement not found "

i made some dummy changes in the receiver and cleared the cache.

This While creating the destination for metadata the system id will be ECC or PI?

Can we use business components in integrated configurations?

Hi bhargava,

For above query , you can use business components in ICO.Reward is helpful.

i tried all the possible options and failed to load the meta data.

Really strange issues, while using IDOC_AAE adapter.
