SCM-Live cache integration error

Hi,

We have EHP 2 for SCM 7.0 and Live cache 7.9 (on separate hosts).

In LC10 we can see that the Live cache is connected.

But when we do a connection test in DB59, we get the following error:
"No client software available for MaxDB"

We raised an SAP message and they asked us to maintain the following parameters

<drive:>\sapdb\clients\<sid>\bin
<drive:>\sapdb\clients\<sid>\pgm
<drive:>\sapdb\clients\<sid>\lib
<drive:>\sapdb\programs\bin
<drive:>\sapdb\programs\pgm

but we still we face the same issue.

We even re-installed the Live cache system.

Have anyone encountered the same issue?

Please help me solve this issue.

Hallo Nanda,

where  did they have you advised to maintain the parameters? I guess you have not installed the liveCache client software on each application server See SAP note 649814 chapter 6

Thanks for your reply.

We fixed the issue by installing the client software in a drive which was shared with SCM system.

Previously it was on a drive, that was not accessible by the SCM system.
