MDM 7.1 and SAP Portal 7.3 connection issue

Hi Experts,

We have installed MDM 7.1 add on and before that we had MDM 5.5 connected to SAP Portal 7.0

Now we are upgrading our sandbox portal to 7.3 and as a result have also installed MDM 7.1.

However post installation of MDM 7.1 , MDM iviews give following error:

javax.resource.spi.EISSystemException: Could not retrieve portal system for MDM with alias "XYZ" and portal user"abcd" . Original Exception: Cannot connect with UserSessionContext to repository "PQRS" on the server "lmno" . Connection refused, error code: GetMDMSystemFailed

Is there anything which needs to be installed and we have missed it or it can be a SSO issue between MDM and Portal ?

Kindly help on this asap as we are stuck with this.

make sure you have deployed the corresponding mdm java stuff in your portal server

do you have checked if the connection between your as java and mdm 7.1 rep works???, via

http:<host>:<port>:mdm/destiantions > maintain repository destination and then click on the test button?
