creation of web services in ECC6

Dear All,

I have a scenario in creating the web services.

We have an ECC6 EHP3- 3 system landscape with Solution manager. Apart from this we have an SANDBOX which is an independent machine and not connected with the Transport directory of the  Live Machine i.e 3 system Landscape machine.

FYI : We cloned the SAND BOX from the PRD and we did not change neither the host name nor anything. We only created a Transport directory like how we create for IDES machines.

1) We need to create an Web services and do pls let me know how to create web services and map that as a link.

Please advice step by step in creating the web services and mapping the same till we create a http link.

2) When i create a webservices the Host name of the SANDBOX and Production are same , in this case how do i differentiate the web services link.

3) Do i have to do all the activities in SAND BOX or also in Solutions manager.

You can use transaction "SICF" to create and activate web services, please check the link provided below:

If not in the same VLAN then no issues but if YES, then you need at least port numbers to be different.

 3) Do i have to do all the activities in SAND BOX or also in Solutions manager.

You need to do all the activities in SAND BOX only.
