Agent not found in the SLD agent candidate list

Hi,

I am having an issue during managed system configuration. I have agent running on the server but I dont find it in 'SLD Agent Candidates list'. I even stopped and started again and refreshed but still not in the list. Any suggestion how should I troubleshoot.

Hello Sattar,

Run again the SLD agent registration from smdsetup with command:

smdsetup sldconf hostname:"solmansrv" port:"5000x" user:"SOLMAN" pwd:"******"

Check SMD agent logs if to found the line that the sld registration is done.

Hi Sattar,

You can check the log of the SMD Agent at /usr/sap/DAA/SMDA97/SMDAgent/log/smdagent_trace.trc file. See if the Host,Port, User ID and Password is correctly mentioned or not.

You can use the below command also to re-register the agent.

/usr/sap/SID/SMDAxx/script/smdsetup.sh managingconf hostname:"solman.full.qual.host.name" port:5xx04 user:SMD_RFC pwd:XXXXXXXX
