Missing server0 and dispatcher folders after Web AS Java export/import

Former Member

Hi all,

we are carrying out a migration of the Java Add-in portion of the SAP

ECC5.0 system AA to this system BB.

We are following the installation guide as in pg 72 of

the "Homogeneous and Heterogeneous System copy for SAP Systems based on

Web AS Java 6.40 Patch Collection", v 1.0 Sept 18, 2006.

We are also using the SAPinst dated Sep 2006 downloaded from

the "Installation and Upgrades -> SAP Application Component -> SAP ERP -> SAP ERP 2004 -> Installation and Upgrade -> Windows Server -> SQL

Server" link in the SAP, specifically the 51032143_13.zip file.

After carrying out the Java Export from AA and Java import into BB.

We find that the dispatcher and server0 folders

in "/usr/sap/THQ/DEVMGS10/j2ee" were not created/copied.

We have tried the Java import and export many times in AA and BB

respectively, but this problem still persists.

Please help! I am at my wit's end!

Thanks,

Hi, I did not resolve this issue using the java import/export.

What i did was to carry out a Java-add-in install of the SAP Netweaver SR1. The server0 and dispatcher folders will then appear.

My system seems to work fine after that.
