Pse certificate

hi everyone

just wanted to know how important is the Pse certificate on SAP systems

and if it can impact Sol Man?

got it from a log(sm21)  saying "your Pse certificate has been invalid for 1233 days"

Hi Marumule,

PSE certificate is need in  SAP systems to make SSO work. Without valid PSE certificate SSO connection from one system to other will not work,

If it is in Solutio nmanager system, that is important as part of the managed system setup, Solman will import it's certificate in the managed systems and once SSO is setup. It will use this to login to managed systems without entering the user id and password.

You can generate a new certificate from transaction, STRUST, STRUSTSSo2 in ABAP system and in Java systems you can do that from NetWeaver Administror tool.
