Hello Experts,
I struggling to find what exactly the following sentence means:
With release management the Urgent Changes will be imported in PROD twice.
Urgent Changes are propagated into other systems at the end of phases in the
maintenance cycle together with the normal corrections by the transport method
import project all.
Can somebody please explain in plain english what exactly 'the transport method import project all'
means and how to execute/perform it via CHARM in SOLMAN 7.1 SP08?
Thanks in advance,
I already google this, but no luck...
Hi
Actually urgent changes even though you have imported to production still be present in Import queue
Import Project all means these will be imported in a sequence order one by one....or in their order of release
so if you have 10 TR in a project including say 2 urgent changes(which were already imported) and you do project import or schedule the background job for project import
then one by TR is imported in the order of their release including the UC which has gone already.
i hope this removes ur doubt completely
Regards
Prakhar
