UI development with NWDS 7.3

Hi Experts,

I am comfortable with NWDS 6.0 but with NWDS 7.3, its hard for UI development.

Most of the UI properties have disappeared from properties (vAlign,hAlign,vGutter .... )

So the positioning of UI elements become a hell.

Is there any way to use better alignments & positioning in the UI?

I have read news that it become more flexible UI but not able to find a solution to UI alignments.

I read the documentations but not getting any idea.

Dear Jacob,

I assume you meant NWDS 7.00 when you referred to 6.0 (or perhaps you meant NWDS 6.40 (a.k.a. NWDS 2.0) but that is pretty much the same from UI point of view than NWDS 7.0X).

Indeed the design is slightly different as of NWDS 710, but the mentioned options are there and I believe it is better organized.

Could you please point out what exactly you are missing, i.e. which UI element is involved ?

Let me also send you a screenshot where the mentioned options are visible.

Notice that the container in which I added the Label has GridLayout, so its LayoutData includes the hAlign and vAlign parameters (if the container was matrixlayout you would see vGutter too). Earlier all parameters were available on one properties tab, now notice the "sub-tabs" like General, Layout , LayoutData, etc.

I moved 6.0 to 7.3.

Thats why totally confused with NWDS properties.
