SNP-Consumption for Configurable materials

                 Is consumption strategies valid for configurable materials in SAP APO and how does it work .

Dear,

SAP deliver standard APO requirement strategies 10, 20, 30, 40.
From SCM700 and upper releases strategy 35 is delivered too.
It is possible to use customized strategies but they have to be copies
of the delivered ones and only the category groups can be different.
There can not be a different combination of planning segment and
assignment mode.

Forecasting without assembly for configurable products (strategy 35)

, the consumption of planning and sales orders is made in the configured material. The planned independent requirements are reduced by the sales order quantity. In subsequent materials planning, the planning order with its components is also reduced accordingly.
