MSS Addon 1 - lpd_cust how to create application alias?

Hi Guys,

We are upgrading to NW 7.31 SP 6. I am trying to add a new menu item under employee profile:

I am almost there. I have copied the web dynpro application and config of the employee profile. i
have added a new operation to the employee business object and set the target
source and I have copied the iview and changed the necesseary properties.

However, in lpd_cust i need to define an application alias and I am not sure where i can
do this.

When i set the app alias to be the same as what is there for the employee profile,
it displays the emp profile page but when i leave this field blank I get the
person ID is missing error message.

Where can I go to copy/view this application alias and change the necessary so that
it will display my custom stuff?

You need to implement BAdi HRMSS_MODIF_BUSINESS_PARAMS and set the filter value to be whatever name you want to give to the application alias.
