Issue in standard webdynpro component

Hello Guys,

i have one issue in standard webdynpro component ( SAP SRM 7.0 ),  when i logged on German Language(DE), the buttons( START SEARCH and RESET )  text is displaying in English language ,  please find attached screen shots.( Portal and se80 )  can any please help me how to display in German language , if i log on on German language.

Hi,

does the above described behaviour also apply when you start the application directly from SE80 while being logged on in German?

I'm asking this, because the portal language has a certain hierarchy in acquisition:

1)component- if he have a locale define
2)Portal mandatory locale -( that was my suggest)
3)user locale
4)browser locale
5)Portal default locale
6)System locale

So maybe it originates from one of these levels of language-acquisition, check this.

Hi,

If this error is from within a standard component & which hasn't been enhanced then you did better raise a customer message to SAP for the same. However if it has been enhanced then you need to check if the translations have been maintained in German language for the respective OTR texts.
