Decimal Place in Task List

Dear Experts.

System doesn't accept upto two place value after decimal in "duration" field of the Task list. but when we remove one place value , it accept that.

Our customer need duration hour to be shown up to two place value  after decimal  in the task list.

Could you suggest how duration hour field can be shown up to decimal place in the task list.

What is the UoM you are using in task list. Total field length is 5 characters, so if you increase the decimal length, then you may not enter if that goes beyond that limit.

Still, if you want to increase, then check in CUNI transaction. But be cautious, as the same UoM can be used by different modules. So, better to have copy of that & change the decimal place, use that in your process.

This is a standard field from data element DAUNOR, which is 5 character long with 1 decimal place.

You can not change this in Order operations tab. This shows in similar way in all related reports too (IW37n etc).

However if it is so essential for you to have this you need to go for a development where you have to create a calculated duration field using the values of 'Work' and 'Number' of operations.
