Cannot Remove Business Partner, Linked Payment Wizard Exists

Hi All,

I have a db in which there are some inactive BP's which I ant to remove.

I cannot use the master data clean up wizard or I cannot remove these are if I try to remove, the system gives error message 'You cannot remove Business Partner, Linked Payment Wizard exists'.

These business partners do not have any transactions at all.

I have checked note no. 1445988 & 1385256 but there is no solution proposed on how to rectify this issue?

Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Hi All.

SAP provided fix query to resolve this issue.

Now the inactive BP's can be removed from db.

Hi Joseph Antony,

Since the inactive BP are selected in  Payment wizard, you can't remove the inactive BP and the system considered as posted transactions.

Normally in SAP, posted or linked documents are not removable.

Hi Nagaraj,

The customer is using SBO since 2008, there are good chances that might have occurred.

But now the user needs a solution to fix this issue. I have tried by removing the saved payment wizard but it does not help.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi Joseph,

You should inactive this BP and setting it not show on Marketing Documents (General Setting)

Because you can not remove it.

As mentioned eariler, not possible to remove once posted or transactions related to BP.

Hi,

Have you checked whether you have any Saved Payment Wizard involving the BP in question?

If yes, then try to remove the saved Payment Wizard and check the results.

Hi Jitin,

I had already tried this as there was only 1 saved payment wizard run. Even after removing the saved wizard, we are unable to remove the Business Partner.
