SAP-windows do not remember their Position

Hi there

Since I have Win 7 and SAP GUI 730 (PL 4) I have this 'problem':

Each morning resp. after restarting my PC the SAP Logon Pad is always at the same place. If I'm logging on to a system, the window is always at the same place with the same window-size. That means in fact: Every day I have to re-organize my desktop in the same way - boringly.

If I close all SAP-windows within the same Windows-session and I restart SAP, the windows appear at the last position ...

Has somebody an idea, where this settting is stored? Note: Our IT has restricted access to the registry ...

Thanks for any answers.

Kind regards,

Martin

Hallo Martin,

It's a bit hard to visualise this

Can you upload a screenshot to show what you mean?

NB: For SAPGUI to function correctly, the registry access for HKEY_CURRENT_USER must be granted to the end-users.

Kind Regards

Jude

Hello Jude

Thanks for your advice. I found the place HCU\Software\SAP\SAPLogon\Settings\Connections in which the last used window-positions are stored.

Kind regard,

Martin
