Hi together,
I want to ask about the integration of SAP APO SNP with SNC.
For our supply network planning we have the idea to make a cooperating procurement planning after the planning run in SNP.
Can we use all planning methods for the planning run in SNP (CTM, optimizer, heuristic) or is the cooperating procurement planning possible only with the heuristic ?
best wishes
Hi Elena,
SNC is a collaborating tool (as you have mentioned co-operating procurement) which is used for collaborating with supplier for procurement.
One can go for SNC for any PO (whatever may be the mode of generation of PO, may be due to CTM, Optimizer or Heuristic).
But from business perspective recommended are CTM and Optimizer as Heuristic considers infinite capacity. Technically SNC can be used for all types of planning run.
Note: I have never seen anyone using SNC along with Heuristics.

Hello Pratyusa and Umesh, my question was answered.
Thank you for the helpful information!
I have actually searched a way to involve the supplier capacities in the SNP planning run.
As first I thought that SCN can be the solution,
but now I think that it will be better to model the supplier capacities as transport resources.
