Hello,
I'm in the middle of a project where I need to do the following:
We have installed SAP system on a server with lots of database growth. The client company now has another server with an array of solid state drives, we need to know how we can do to move specific tables of SAP, eg MSEG table to the new server with solid state drives. You need that after this SAP system whenever you need to consult these tables go to new server and not to the same database.
Could someone give me some suggestions?
Hi Hidalgo,
Best approach would be to migrate your existing SAP system to a new storage with SSD drives.
Ensure that all your data library is installed on SSD drives and high priorties are set for these drives.
Hope this helps.

Hi Hidalgo
You can not have a database split up in 2 databases where by some tables are on 1 database and the rest of another.
Best option will be is to move the WHOLE database to the new server.
there are ways at database level to achieve this but this is not suported by SAP.
Best Regards
Marius
