Customizing Security Roles

Is it possible to customize a security profile or group to manage contracts per a specifiic location?

For example, if John Doe is from China, can we limit his access to them to be able to manage/support contracts for that region?

AND

What about if a contract has a max limit of say $50000, can a profile dictate that they can manage it since it's under that specific max dollar limit?

Hello, Corey.

It's possible to achieve that but you would need to create scripts and extensions in order to validate that information.

In my previous project we had a requirement to validate some data (like Plant, P. Org, Master Agreement Type) and determine if the user could have access to the related document.

So, in general, it's possible but you would have to design the solution (where would you store the data to be validated) and determine the rules to validate it (scripting).
